A Volume Estimating Calculator is a general-purpose Estimating Calculator which allows you to build up layers of items that are related to the volume of an item. For example you could create a Estimating Calculator to assess the cost of mass concrete fill of soft ground:
- Excavation of soft ground
- Removal of spoil from site
- Replacement of soft ground with concrete
- Plus any labour and plant associated with the operation
The Estimating Calculator can then be saved under the name “Concrete fill of soft ground” and used at any time, simply by inputting the volumes.
