The default layout of PlansXpress can be seen below.
You can set the Notes Picker, Layout Explorer, Properties and Command Window to automatically hide away when not in use by clicking the small pin icon. You can set them to be completely invisible by unticking the corresponding boxes on the Show/Hide section on the Views & 3D tab.
You can also drag and drop these panels to other locations on the screen. When moving a panel you will see four squares in the middle of the screen and a square at the top, bottom, left and right of the plan, drop the panel on one of these squares to move the panel to the top, bottom, left or right of the screen.
After letting go of the mouse button the notes picker is dropped in to it's new location
