Welcome to the PlansXpress Software Skills Course. If you have attended the live course, you can use this video to retrace your steps through Module 1 at your own speed. You are of course welcome to use the training module videos without having attended the live course. Please note that you are only eligible for the Software Skills Certificate if you attend the live course.
In Module 1, we introduce some basic drawing skills. We show you how to select a drawing template and give you a quick tour of the PlansXpress screen. During the module, you’ll learn how to use the mouse to select items, to navigate around the drawing page and to draw architectural elements. You’ll learn how to use some keyboard shortcut keys to speed up your drawing. You’ll also learn how to set out construction lines.
