If you find that EstimatorXpress will not open and Excel locks up when you try to run the software and that you use Bitdefender Anti-virus, this guide will assist you in running the softwar again.
Step 1, Open Bitdefender Total Security and then click Settings under the Advanced Threat Defence section:
Step 2, click "Add applications to exceptions":
Step 3, Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\HBXL\EstimatorXpress9 on the tree and click the 3 boxes for Estimator.exe, EstimatorXpress Lanucher.exe, and gzip.exe and then click "OK":
Step 4, run EstimatorXpress.
