If you have Windows 10, you may occasionally get this message when you try to run EstimatorXpress:
The fix is very simple - just restart Windows 10. Remember to save any other work you may have open before doing this.
When you shut down Windows 10 it does not do a real shut down - instead it goes into a sort of sleep mode. This means that when you switch your computer back on, it has not restarted or reset a range of components in Windows. This tends to cause a stacking of updates and other modules in the memory which sooner or later need a full restart to clear or correctly apply. At some point one of these stacked items causes the message above.
We recommend that you perform a restart on your Windows 10 computer once a week just to clear these.
